Like many other I've become a Pinterest Addict!!! On some rainy afternoons this week it was a blessing.
"Mom what can I do??..." said mopey child looking out at the dreary weather " NO SWIMMING TODAY- SO BOARD!"
"Let's check out my Pinterest Boards and pick a few ideas to do" said the ingenuous Mother ( yep that's ME!)
Eggs on a Grill pinned on my FoodFun board from food.com

straight pretzel sticks
Directions:
1-Spread wax paper on a cookie sheet.
2-Arrange pretzel sticks, laying side by side, into groups of four.
3-Melt white chocolate.
4-Drop a small amount (approx. 1 tsp) onto the center each group of 4 sticks.
5-Top each "egg white" with one yellow m.
6-Cool until set.

We used paper not fabric, the effect is still stunning. I wish the white "V" showed up better in photo.

Roaring Campfires same board
1 (18 ounce) package refrigerated cookie dough
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups pretzel sticks (the thin kind, broken into pieces)
1 (4 1/4 ounce) package decorator icing (yellow color with decorating tip)
1 (4 1/4 ounce) package decorator icing (orange color with decorating tip)
Directions:
1-Preheat oven to 350°F
2-Lightly grease cookie sheets.
3-Let dough stand at room temperature about 15 minutes.
4-Combine dough, flour and cocoa in large bowl; beat until well blended.
5-Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.
6-Bake about 7 minutes or until set. Immediately press pretzel pieces into sides of cookies to resemble campfire logs. Carefully remove to wire racks; cool completely

Has Pinterest ever come to your rescue????
Pinterest hasn't really come to the rescue, but I am totally addicted to it. Great job on the crafts:)

DeleteI love pinterest and yes, it has came to the rescue a couple times for different things. I love the chocolate eggs the are just too cute. I just added buttons and fabric to my Walmart list because I have fallen in love with the LOVE pics.

DeleteCute idea. I made a motorcycle diaper cake from a Pinterest inspired photo. :) It turned out so cute and it was fairly easy to make.

DeleteLoved this post, great ideas and I loved how you showed the pinned and the result, I hate it when a project doesn't turn out as expected, but I have learned that MY RESULT is always better than the original, making it my personalized ORIGINAL! Lovely job! Going to try the bottle art!
