Do your / Did your kids get involved in the school musicals...I always loved them buy never tried out...so glad my daughter is NOT SO SHY. Guys and Dolls was one I'd not seen before...so it was fun-they did a Jr version so the "night-club" and gambling was at a minimum.
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for My Fair Lady and Grease my two classic favs!
Do you have a favorite Musical?
My oldest was in drama once upon a time, but none of the kids have done musicals. How fun!!! And congrats to your daughter for being awesome enough to get up there and do it! I'd have been way too chicken at her age. :)

DeleteMy kids have not done any type of musicals but they are only in 1st and 2nd grade.

DeleteI love musicals, I grew up going to them in London as a treat from my Grandmother. I remember seeing Phantom in the West End and it inspired me to follow musical dreams. I would love for my kids to grow up loving them to

DeleteOur kids did musicals-- Pippin, Hello Dolly , West Side Story and Sound of Music. Always great show...we went for years after too because the school did a good job and it's so much cheaper then going to a local theater ;D

ReplyDeleteBoth of my kids are in band. My daughter has performed on lots of occasions but my son is going to have his first concert soon.
