O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 136:3King James Version
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 King James Version
Although this year has been a VERY trying one I'm THANKFUL for what we do have...as my Son pointed out to me yesterday-"We have a home and so many don't! That's what I'm thankful for this year."
It's so true we spend so much time thinking on what we don't have today and everyday we should be Thankful for what we do have many are out there with so much less.
Have a great Thanks-giving to all-Have a safe weekend. Eat, shop, rest and be grateful for what life has given to you.
What a beautiful thing for your son to say! I hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteA clay pot sitting in the sun will always be a clay pot. It has to go though the white heat of the furnace to become porcelain.--- This season is one of fire---so in the future I can shine.
DeleteI hope that you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

DeleteYou're so right! I think about some of the families, children, parents, and people who have so little and here I am, sometimes complaining about little things. Thanksgiving is also such a good time to reflect on all that you just mentioned. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI still have family and a roof over my head so many are with out that this year --I'm glad my Son reminded me.
