Ragens Christmas Address--SO TIMELY
A timely reminder from Christmas Past...Merry Christmas and Wonderful Holiday to all!
Must Have Product for Beauty Drawer
Had a stressful week that has wreaked havoc on your skin. This time of tyear--WHO's NOT having a FEW stressfuil moments??? Whether it is only a spot or more, Apothederms Acne Clarifying Treatment is formulated to help clean up sebum and minimize pore size. It's gentle, yet effective, meaning it won't irritate skin. Sometimes life brings a breakout and what you need is a problem solver!
.
That's where Apothederm Acne Clarifying Treatment comes in like Superman for your skin.
The company's patented SmartPeptide technology will help you experience many benefits. I experience mild brake out due to stress so I LOVED trying the new addition to Apothederm’s line its designed to both clear up blemishes and minimize your pores. Three key ingredients work together to make this little miracle happen:
- Oligopeptide-10 – a powerful SmartPeptide that binds cellular toxins
- Salicylic Acid – reduces sebum build up and pore size while gently exfoliating dead skin cells
- Glycerin – a humectant that draws moisture to the skin
I've been using this product twice a day for about a month now, and I've been pleased with the results.

Wet Ones has launched a Sticky Situations Contest
All is TOOO QUITE--untill you walk into your childs playroom
to realize they have colored their pictures so nice and themselves too with marker? This is the Sticky Situation I've walked in on a few times with my two monkeys! Of course my first instinct is to get mad--but NO I grab my CAMERA and laugh at situations. Knowing it will make for a great blog post down the line! Oh, and keeping my markers out of reach unless I stay in the room!!!!
Wet Ones is giving us the opportunity to share all of the Sticky Situations we have found ourselves in and tips on how to deal with them through their Facebook Contest! Simply log on and share your story and tips, and you can be entered to win an iPad Mini or Six Flags Tickets! I just entered, it doesn’t take long at all, here’s the link to enter.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Wet Ones. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating.

Getting creative with Torani Flavors
Pfeffernuss Cookies (Germans Spice) are ALWAYS a huge hit in our family, so when we started our holiday cookies...these were on the to do list--I thought what a better way to get creative with Torani then to add some of the Gingerbread flavor to the recipes--you'll have to look one up, Oma uses one printed in German by her grandmother, what I can tell you is it called for about a teaspoon of ground ginger---we put in three teaspoons of the Sugar Free Torani Flavor syrup-we also had to modify our flour just a bit tto get the cookies just right.
Over all the cookies was wonderful!!!!! The kids started eating right away I barely had time to snap a photo =)
a splash of decaf-coffee (she's 10 doesn't need the caffeine )
and 1 tbsp of the Torani's Gingerbread Syrup
She thought she'd died and gone to heaven!!!!!

You can pretty much use Torani Flavored syrups in anyway you would like. I'm not a huge gingerbread fan,so I wasn't super excited to try it out in my coffee... but I must say I like the syrup. There is a hint of cinnamon that I really could enjoy! My daughter is a huge gingerbread fan so I made her
a Torani Gingerbread Latte
1 cup of milka splash of decaf-coffee (she's 10 doesn't need the caffeine )
and 1 tbsp of the Torani's Gingerbread Syrup
She thought she'd died and gone to heaven!!!!!
Add the syrup to your waffle mix, a splash in Hot Coco, we even put a little dash of the Salted Caramel in our rice crispe treat
You can check out the Torani website for many more ways to use the syrup.
Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks and Torani.
Nevertheless, this post is my own honest opinion.

Batman Power Attack Party
To help us host, we received a party kit with everything we needed to host an amazing party:
- 10 BATMAN POWER ATTACK Basic Figures-.
- 4 BATMAN POWER ATTACK Deluxe Figures -
- 1 BATMAN POWER ATTACK TOTAL DESTRUCTION BATMOBILE-
- BATMAN Host Entertaining Party Pack –
goodie table all ready |
Batman never shies away from a mission and always possesses courage and strength even in the most perilous situations. With the six-inch Power Attack figures, kids can create their own adventures. The Power Attack BATMOBILE allowed kids to play out exciting chase scenes with their favorite six-inch characters and their imagination! Each character has a signature action move, giving kids the ability to keep the foes at bay. This was the high light of the party for my son. We enjoyed the DVD and we also played the BatmanLEGO on the X-box. Then it was snack time...I made the power bars and we had Gotham Grape Juice to wash it down. and then we played Bat Tag. Everyone really liked the goodie bag and the boys were thrilled to take home a figure! He's a few shots of the fun.
Thanks to Mattel and MommyParties for giving us the opptunity to host this POWER ATTACK party!!

What do woman REALLY want for Christmas
via:Sugardaddie.com
I have agree with the numbers on this article. Although I may disagree with the statement don't buy what they need;sometimes just the fact that my hubby realized I needed a new--- is a GIFT in of itself! Also that travel should also say "trip free of children =)" Honestly this year when my Mom asked what I wanted I told her if she could give me and my DH dinner and movie night :over night would be extra WONDERFUL ;} She seemed all to pleased at such a EZ request.
There are a few items I was surprised not to see on the list --A Spa day -who doesn't love to be pampered or a Magazine subscription-its the gift that gives all year long.
So how about it ladies--agree with the list or is something missing?????
WW Ice-Skating with Daddy
Time to hit the ice again---we've got very lil snow (VERY odd for Buffalo!) so getting into the rink really puts us in the Winter State of Mind!!!
You see who stayed safely off the ice!!??!! ;^D

Pamela's Holiday Gift Guide 2012~~5 Great Hostess Gifts~~
As the holiday season has gotten into full swing every weekend its a party at Aunt Kathy's , playgroup holiday brunch, or maybe a Christmas Cookie exchange. What ever it is getting the hostess a little something something is a must. BUT WHAT to give that's where it can get tricky ...I've come up with several gift that would fill any host heart with joy.
- Coasters-- Find a style that suits you host- monograms are always classic, or go with a holiday theme. As a party host you can never have too many coasters.
- A cute apron--again you know your host the best find what fits if they have a great sense of humor check out Zazzle or for a more traditional looks check out some great est shops like Sassy Apron or Dear Edna. Or if your really handy with the sewing machine design one yourself. See this cute one my Mom made ============>
- A great cheese board---of course adding the cheese for the party is a good idea, just let the host know they can keep the board after. These set are pretty reasonable and are sure to be a big hit.
- Board games---chances are this host is always having people over and what more fun then a family game night or battle of the sexes.
- Music CD's or I-tunes gift card --what is better to set the party mood then some great tunes.
