The 2017 Housewares Design Awards honoring products offering design innovation and new ways for improving everyday. Trudeau Corporation’s Silicone Round Cake Pan with an integrated steel frame took top honors in the Cookware and Bake ware category.
The winner, Trudeau’s Round Cake Pan is one of eight cake, cookie and muffin pans integrated with Trudeau’s exclusive reinforced steel rims for secure handling and Supra Silicone, a patented, seamless manufacturing process providing a flexible non-stick, easy release surface. I was pleased to be offered the opportunity to put this pan to the test.
First I have to mention that I've cooked with a few virility of silicone pieces for different purposes- one thing I have noticed about a few it there is an odor when cooking with them-NOT WITH THIS PAN!! It did live up to the promise of a easy release, it was almost spotless when done cooking I did a quick wash with hot soapy water and it looked brand-new. If I was in a rush I could have put it in the dishwasher, because the cake pan is safe in freezer, microwave and dishwasher. It also comes with a Lifetime Warranty.
For bakers from beginner to pro this pan is a MUST HAVE in your kitchen!
