Veggie Kefir #Review #foodie

This is a “sponsored post.” The company who sponsored it compensated me via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value to write it. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

Lifeway Foods, a leader in probiotic and nutritious foods, has launched their Veggie Kefir available in grocery stores throughout the U.S. Each bottle packs the nutritional punch of a full serving of vegetables. With a smooth texture plus 10 grams of complete protein, Veggie Kefir offers a choice of Beet, Cucumber, and Tomato flavors. It is available in 8 oz individual bottles.

4 reasons you should give them a try.
1.Protein, abundant in kefir, increases satiety and reduces hunger cravings throughout the day.

2.Kefir contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), a popular ingredient in skin care products

3.The live and active probiotic cultures found in kefir may help support digestion.

4.Veggie Kefir taste great!

They are great to drink straight from the bottle for a afternoon boost or on the go pick me up. They also work well in recipes!

  • 2 medium cloves garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
  • 1/2 cup Kefir Cucumber
  • 2 cups of greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon flavorful extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  1. Peel garlic and chop coarsely. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt and mash into puree with blade of knife held sideways. Scrape into medium bowl..
  2. Add  Kefir drink, yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, dill and pepper, stirring together well.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for flavors to blend. Add more salt if needed. Serve as dip with pita bread and fresh vegetables or as sauce for  pork, chicken, beef or vegetables.
