Once they get to the Island of Independance they are reminded by the islanders of all that Hugo has over come already- Respect, Creativity,and Cooperation just to name a few (all the books in Hugo's adventure) Hugo is amazed at what he has already accomplished -but his dream to get to the "real world" THere is still more to Hugo journey.
