Hugo is a little starfish whose home is at the bottom of the wide ocean...and his books are finding a new home in our Kindle library;   longs to visit the real world, and one day he decides to go and find it. Hugo's journey to happiness isn't quite as straightforward as he hopes though. He is sent to a series of different islands where he is taught important character lessons.
By the end of his journey, Hugo has visited fourteen islands, made many more friends, and, most importantly, learned how to be a better starfish.
 

Teamwork is the 11th book of the island adventures. The book as all in the series was a quick read. Miss Molly  enjoyed the colorful friends that helped Hugo in the story.  Suzy Liebermann has a great style of writing for children. The book is suitable as a read aloud book for preschoolers or a self-read book for older children. If you've been following my blog for any amount of time you know I highly recommend adding the Hugo Starfish books to your childrens library!

This book King Hugo:Island of Independence is the 13th book of his adventures. I like the lesson Hugo and his friend Seedo the sea dragon learn along the way about how words can hurt. Once they get to the Island of Independance they are reminded by the islanders of all that Hugo has over come already- Respect, Creativity,and Cooperation just to name a few (all the books in Hugo's adventure) Hugo is amazed at what he has already accomplished -but his dream to get to the "real world"  THere is still more to Hugo journey.

This book is Island 12 and contains one character trait I think is very important for children to learn at a very young age-How to pay someone a complement.  In the story Hugo and his pals learn that it can make someone else and even yourself feel good. when you can find something nice to say about the people around you.

Princess Sophia and the Frog ~~REVIEW~~

Princess Sophia is a little princess who has everything a little princess could wish for:
a big castle with many things inside.
However, she is bored and wants to fly to the moon.
One day a little frog comes by and helps her fly high up into the sky.
They come to land on different planets, where Sophia learns about feelings. She also learns that she can choose what mood she surrounds herself with, as this will impact her own.
After her return to the castle she realizes that all she needs to be happy is to be surrounded by good friends.

This book is one every little princess will love. The pictures are bright and colorful, and the story line is amazing. I'd highly recommend adding it to any Princess library! You can find it on AMAZON
