Birds are singing, buds are starting to bloom and eyes are staring to get red & runny -SPRING IS HERE!!... and if you suffer from seasonal allergies; like my lil guys you've got a stuffy and itchy nose, and constant sneezing. Yes- springtime and allergies go together like birds of a feather. NOW I'm ready to face them head on- I'm so excited to be part of the Children's Claritin Moms Crew #ClaritinMom - I have the chance to connect with moms all around the US and we can share our stories and experiences dealing with seasonal allergies.
We received a great welcome kits to help us get the word out, just walking through the market with the bag-starts up a conversation and I can pass out some samples, also share a few facts-
Up to 40% of school children are affected by allergic rhinitis, making it one of the most prevalent of all chronic childhood conditions.
- Every year, approximately 2 millions school days are missed due to the symptoms of seasonal and indoor (dust, mold, and pet dander) allergies.
- Daytime symptoms of allergies may cause children to have difficulty concentrating and learning in school - and nighttime symptoms may cause sleep loss, leading to daytime drowsiness. Thanks to Claritin for sharing these facts and making me feel OH SO SMART WHEN I SHARE THEM =^D
Here are my kids
ready to face
the day!!!!
THANKS CLARITIN!!!
Disclosure: As a member of the Children's Claritin Moms Crew, I receive product samples and promotional items to share and use as I see fit. No monetary compensation has taken place, and any opinions expressed by me are honest and reflect my actual experience
Great! Are they chewable or dissolving? I'll keep a look out for that bag, so I can get my free sample ;)

chewable....and grape my kiddos fav flavor =)
DeleteHope we have them here in the Philippines already! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the great post- love the pics!
ReplyDeleteMy son has season allergies, eczema, asthma, etc. My daughter got off easy...she has eczema but none of the other problems. My son has been in the hospital several times over the years for his asthma, and it seems like the slightest thing sets it off.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the Claritin would help with that, since the asthma seems pretty interlinked with the allergies. When one flares up, so does the other.
He's already on Cingulair...I'll have to ask my doctor if he'd be able to take both at once. This might be a big help for him! Thanks for the info!
Stopping by (ridiculously late I know) from the voiceBoks members to remember event (yep, the one that ended on the 8th..I'm so behind!) Anyway, there's a blog hop going on over at my blog through Sunday! I'd love for you to stop over and link up! You'll see the button for the hop on the top left. :-)
Have a great weekend!
Smiles, Jenn @Misadventures in Motherhood
