Easy Crock Pot BBQ Ribs

Want to bring the dish that will bie the BIGGEST hit at the next family party--make these ribs!!!

Easy Crock Pot BBQ Ribs

Ingredients
  • 4 pounds pork baby back ribs
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic powder, onion powder (1/2 tsp each)
  • 2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place ribs in baking dish and season with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes and then turn over and bake for 15 more minutes.
  4. In a small bowl combine BBQ sauce, ketchup and brown sugar.
  5. Place ribs in a large Crock Pot (or slow cooker). You can also use a liner if you want like I did for less mess. You can either cut or curl the ribs.
  6. Pour the sauce on top and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  7. If you want to caramelize the sauce, put the ribs back into the oven for 15 minutes at 400 degrees.

  1. That sounds so easy. I'm keeping this recipe. Thanks Pamela. Also, if you spray cooking oil first in the crockpot, it cleans pretty easy.

  2. This sounds like a easy way to make ribs for my husband as I hate cooking meat. Will try this next time he wants ribs.
