Enjoying Mother's Day in the roaring 20’s

Thanks to the good people over at wholesale Halloweens costumes I got to go back in time for Mother's Day.
I love the great variety of costumes they have at Wholesale Halloween Costumes. Adult costumes  and a super selection for kids. Although Halloween is still a few months off our family loves having theme parties and we are always on the look out for  costumes.  With the opening of Gatsby Mother's Day weekend I knew this was onc movie was GOING TO SEE! I'm a sucker for dressing up in  20s fashion

The good-time gals and guys of the roaring 20's and 30's! Flappers and gangsters are most associated with the years from 1920 to 1933, when Prohibition spawned speakeasies and wild parties like in The Great Gatsby, and women favored shorter skirts and shorter haircuts!

Here's the costume I picked out for my daughter to wear...and WOW the
lots  of pieces included.

Here's my lil gansta!

There are a few of the items that are shown in the photo on the costume package and they are not included, so read the item description VERY carefully. I did have an issue with pieces missing and had to contact PR... response was very quick and I  felt like my concerns were  being herd and dealt with in a speedy manor.

Its always good to keep in mind how and where you/child will be wearing the costume. The dress part of this was VERY short so pants were a must. Also if you shopping for Halloween time take into account your child may want to layer up under the outfit. I bought this one true to size, knowing we'd be indoors. My daughter did say that the waist band was a little uncomfortable for her, but she did have room to put a thin tee under.

Over all we both gave this costume a 5 of 5 stars!

  1. How Fun!!! I like the costume. My husband loves The Great Gatsby so we'll be seeing that movie too. Dressing up for it would be even more fun. The 20's were rocking for dress-up today, I have to agree.

  3. How fun! This costume looks like it would be great for an indoor event and it is always good to know how true to size items are. That is a big one for me when costume shopping or my kiddos.
