I want to introduce you to a family owned and operated startup based just outside of San Francisco Uncorked Ventures They spend time in wine country getting to know winemakers, vineyard owners, farmers and others directly involved in the creation of what's in your glass.
--this makes a great office-- RIGHT |
Their wines rated at 90 points or above by major wine critics and although I'm not a Sommelier I must agree with the critics this was a great glass of wine.-there was a hint of floral and light nutty taste. - Here's how a wine is judged- A wine rated 80-84, for example, was judged to be good “a solid, well-made wine”, while one rated 85-89 is very good “a wine with special qualities”. When assigning a score, the taster judges the wine’s structure, flavors and typicity are done “blind”—that is, the taster does not know the producer or price, so these with a rate of 90 have a voluptuous full taste.
Shipment from the Explorations Wine Club which typically includes both a red and a white wine starting at $40. If you'd prefer you can receive two bottles of Red from their Special Selections Wine Club. If you have a desire for a more Highly Wine cellar worthy you can order from their Reserved Selection. I like that there is a brief note about the vineyard the wine comes from.
Whatever you choose, it’s a reason to say, “Cheers.”
I am not a big wine drinker, but I think this would be a good gift! Thanks for sharing. I like that the wines are rated, since I would not know how to choose a wine!
