National Hat Day and other fun facts.

Sometimes I feel as though the calendar is filled with a huge collection of bizarre holidays that we don't even know about... but wouldn't it make life more interesting if we celebrated more of them? I'm super thrilled to know that January 19th is National Popcorn Day, February 1st is Bubble Gum day,and I don't mind marking down that May 6th is No Diet Day!




Another fun holiday that is right around the corner is National Hat Day on January 15th.



A day set aside to wear and enjoy a hat of your choosing, there couldn't be a better time to pick out your favorite shape, size, color and style and display it proudly.But just as Valentine's Day is symbolized by the heart and Halloween wouldn't be the same without jack-o-lanterns, Arby's has decided that National Hat Day needs a symbol as well. New Year choose a New Lunch

With the new year around the cornor , many of us will make list of resolutions that will be broke with in the first week. Last year I was inspired by a great article Dr. Oz had in  O one day was Pack a smarter lunch! I've found mine.

I know  this picture I don't looked so thrilled, honestly the first time I was a little skeptical -I've tried a few other "healthy" options before and have been disappointed. NOT with the Healthy Choice Baked line!!!

Also if your a fan of Top Chief you'll be pleased to know there  are Top Chief inspired dishes as well!!!! YUM YUM

 I only have one---to make small goals that I can realistically keep through the year =)

If I list a bunch of BIG ones I know I'll never get/keep---I start on a bad foot. =^(

We've  started our kids on chores and in doing so I know I'll have to lead by example-little things that will lead toward a better lifestyle.
