I want to introduce you to a family owned and operated startup based just outside of San Francisco Uncorked Ventures They spend time in wine country getting to know winemakers, vineyard owners, farmers and others directly involved in the creation of what's in your glass.

Their  wines rated at 90 points or above by major wine critics and although I'm not a  Sommelier I must agree with the critics this was a great glass of wine.-there was a hint of floral and light nutty taste. - Here's how a wine is judged- A wine rated 80-84, for example, was judged to be good “a solid, well-made wine”, while one rated 85-89 is very good “a wine with special qualities”. When assigning a score, the taster judges the wine’s structure, flavors and typicity are done “blind”—that is, the taster does not know the producer or price, so these with a rate of 90 have a voluptuous full taste.

I Love these straws. They are smooth, washable and nontoxic. Great for the planet too. The only negative I see is that they cannot be used for hot drinks, for obvious reasons.

Julie Dweck has done it again! Another "MUST HAVE" book! This one will literally get your kids thinking OUTSIDE THE BOX!!

We meet A timid Jack-In-The-Box toy was frightened and confused when he accidentally jumped out of his box. He felt disgraced outside the safety of his familiar box.

He met a new friend named Barker. Jack and Barker embarked on many "jumping" adventures. The great rhyme bold color and silly adventures these two go on will have your children asking for more. They might even want to try a few of the jumps Jack and Barker do in the story.

As always there are extra fun pages included in the book--I love the Amazing(but true) Jump facts can lead to some great teaching moments!

When my young baker of the house saw my newest product to review she could hardly get into the kitchen fast enough! Galley Essentials Silicone Baking Cups are bold and make it fun and ez to bake!

An alternative to churning through hundreds of disposable paper muffin liners (what a waste!) this set of 12 colorful eco-friendly cups can be used over and over again.
I love that they can fit in a  standard metal or glass muffin pans, or they can be placed individually on a flat cookie sheet. I like this feature because I only have two small cupcake pans(6) so now I don't have to wait in order to bake 24 cupcakes. I love that you don't need to spray them  with a non-stick spray. Oliver and Jumpy #ChildrensBook #Review

I will start out with a positive notes about the stories. I think the unique friendship between the cat and the kangaroo is sweet. I like the fact that Oliver is allergic to mice but he still likes to chase them and let them go. The pictures in the book would definitely capture any childs eye. Over all the storylines are simple and would be easy for a young child to understand.

I have two constructive criticisms for the author - many of the pages have  A LOT of text, all boxed together---even if the same amount of words were separated throughout the page I think it would be a better look-- also the approach to some of the topics may not go over very well with many parents...a smoking hog, while Oliver points out its a gross habit-I think the picture of the hog with the  cigar is unnecessary--just smoke coming from the side of the page would have go the idea across with out the cigar being shown. Also later in the story Oliver comments he likes to flatter Jumpy because most girls like it--I think really EVERYONE like to be flattered now and again. 

Over all I give the collection a 4 of 5 stars.
