~Personal update~ Happy Columbus Day

Happy Columbus Day !!!

I've been a little out of commission this past week, baby sitting in the first part and then late in the week threw out my back and haven't been moving much--My Brother and his family have come up from Indiana, Saturday we faced a BIG windchill while my kids both played soccer-I didn't bring my camera-even if I had I don't think I would have unbundled to snap a shot-we looked like a line of MUMMYs LOL- my son's team won 7 to 1 he had three goals, daughters team it was the first playoff game and they lost by one goal =(

We enjoyed some dinners with our grandparents after while I sat in the EZ chair reeking of back cream like I WAS THE OLD LADY THERE!!! My hubby served me my dinner my Opa (how's 87) said I've got it made!! LOL We watched a few collage football games--honestly I was doozeing off more then watching!

Sunday was church --my Mom was so thrilled when she was asked to sing a special -she normaly would sing with my Dad, but his throat was bothering him so my Bro and I sang with her--she was so beside herself she forgot the words!!=D
That after noon we was the other side of the family while watching our Bills get pummeled yet AGAIN--Can you tell I REALLY LIKE FOOTBALL   NOT Then I had the three girls sleep over at my house and Mom took the boys, nail painting, crafts etc photo essay is on the way. Today's actives include an indoor bumper car paint ball and indoor gym. Should be loads of fun to watch!

Hope all of you have a fun Columbas Day!!

  1. Happy Columbus Day to you too!

I hope your back is feeling better soon, and I'm glad your mom was so happy you guys were singing with her. :)

As for watching the kids in the cold, I can totally relate. We have often looked like mummies on the sidelines too. One game was so cold parents stayed in their car and beeped when their kids scored(football), lol.
