The possibilities are endless for #PizzaMonth. with the right tools. #review @Tfal_Cookware

Pizza lovers out there??   If you're families  are  fans - like our family is; then you need no reminder that October is National Pizza Month. If your crew likes to have a DIY Pizza  night there are a few at-home essentials that will guarantee your creations are as scrumptious  and easy to eat as the real thing. "MUST HAVES" are a good pan and a sharp slicer.

We love to have  DIY Pizzas night because we all have our own favorite toppings. So putting these products to the test was simple.

When  making  you own pizzas most important is having the best crust! The T-fal AirBake Pizza Pan allows users to create perfectly baked pizza 15% faster. AirBake uses a clever double-layer technology to provide an overall enhanced baking performance. meaning better browning, no burning, and decreased bake times! $19.99/Amazon, Kohls.com

This particulate afternoon we were in a mini pizza mood - Look how good they fit on the pan.

Once you have created and cooked your Pizza you are ready to dive in!!!

Remove you Pizza from the Pan cutting directly on the pan will damage both anti-stick Teflon layer as well as the metallic body of the pan.

Notice the toasty brown crust --YUM!!!

The  T-fal Ingenio Pizza Cutter is extremely durable and is made of heat-resistant Tritan that seamlessly slices through pizza.  The Tritan also prevents the cheese from sticking to the cutter and the detachable wheel makes for a worry-free clean-up. I also feel a lot safer handing it to my kids over a metal blade. $8.99 / Amazon, Kohls.com

KOOKING WITH KAYLEIGH SWEET TREAT

Kayleigh decided to make a berry trufle inspired snack.  Berry trifle is made with frozen berries or preserves, purchased short bred cookies, and vanilla pudding.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Shortbread cookies
  • 1 package  frozen (or fresh if in season) raspberries, blackberries or  strawberries
  • 1 package  vanilla pudding
  • milk or in this case we used Almond Breeze
  • sweetened whipped cream or whipped topping

She whipped up the pudding  and set it in the fridge to
settle...then called some friends to come over and enjoy the goodies too.

They made layers of the short bread...she smartly though putting the cookie in a baggie and
smashing it to bits--REALLY she just like the though of pounding the - out of something! ~ LOL~

New Item to my blog--

Many of the blogs I read are filled with wonderful recipes. While I like to cook and do daily - I believe there is NOTHING better then a home cooked meal. I do it because its a need...not really a love  My daughter on the other hand took up a cooking class this year in school and her love for cooking has REALLY blossomed. My kids have pitched in in the kitchen at different times, but after her class my daughter felt like she was ready to go at it alone---well I was there with the camera of course.  =^D

That bring us to the new segment I'll be sharing on my blog  KOOKING with KAYLEIGH!!    Along the way some of your recipes may pop up!

The first dish she wanted to make is one she's been helping me cook for many years. Lasagna!!!!!
There are many recipes; we followed a basic three layer one.

1 box of Lasagna noodles
1 lbs of beef, sausage, turkey
1 jar of sauce
16 oz mozzarella (or more if you really like it cheesy!)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/2 ricotta
1 egg
salt
pepper

Cook up your meat choice, Cook the noodles according to the box...while they are cooking
mix the Parmesan, ricotta and egg in a bowl, adding a lil salt and pepper to your liking.

I liked to put everything in bowls to make it EZ to put on the layers.

Put a layer of sauce on the bottom of the pan, noodles and more sauce. Another layer of noodles then

ricotta mix, sauce and beef...

then mozzarella!!! As you can see we are a cheese loving family!!! Do  these steps again for another layer. Then cover with foil and bake at 375 for 30 minutes.

THEN ENJOY!!!!!!!!
