#WINNER The Calming Effects Of Adult Coloring + #Giveaway #inkspirationscoloring

In the past year a soaring numbers of adults have turned to coloring books in an effort to combat stress after it was proven that coloring in can help alleviate tension.

One thing most people would agree on – we need an outlet from the horrors of the world and the seemingly unending violence we see daily. A quiet and peaceful place where tranquility and serenity replaces anxiety.

I was a Nanny and worked at a Pre-School before starting a family of my own, some of the best moments of my day have been coloring with children. It was a way to encourage  imagination - I mean WHY can't a horse be Blue with pink dots!! We remember the contentment and unrestrained feeling  that coloring brought us as children – we can recapture it as adults.

Inkspirations is a website that introduces a new line of beautiful, adult coloring books and, as an added bonus, greeting cards. Fun to color and brighten up someone's day, or pretty enough to keep and frame.

Inkspirations Fruit Of The Spirit  designs will help celebrate the powerful virtues that bring us through life's joy and pain. You can turn your art into a beautiful gift for yourself or others to encourage us to allow God to work in us and allow his Spirit to shine through us.

In the Animal Kingdom book you can take a walk on the wild side. All things furry, feathered and scaly that inhabit the depths of the ocean to the treetops in the rainforest await your imagination to bring them to life.

Each of the Inkspirations Color Me Greeting Cards features a colorful design on the outside which is reproduced inside in black-and-white as a “color me” template, ready for a personal touch.

Now one RSR reader can WIN a great coloring package for themselves!!

#Children'sBook #Review Have You Ever Wondered About Angels?

As a member of Pollen-8 I was intrigued when I read the description of this children's book:

The picture book, 'Have You Ever Wondered About Angels?' takes the child and reader on a whimsical journey to discover what angel’s wings are made of, how they sleep, how they chat with you and most importantly how you can chat with them.

When you first open the book there is a lovely dedication  to the child from whom the book is given.I enjoy a book that will encourage children's imagination. Although the story is about  Angels--there is no "religious" undertone -the author  explores all the things Angle wings "could" be made of and then reminds the reader they have a companion that will always be there even if you cannot see them

The colorful illustration are beautiful pieces of art with in the story.
There is a lovely poem that I think would make for a great wall art in any child's
room.

I think the Meet the Author page is very nice and since receiving the book  I have connected with Chris Alexandria through her website AngelChatter. Its a super way to keep updated on all that happening--like finding out the book just won the Mom's Choice Award, Silver Placement for Bedtime Stories!!

Aside from the fabulous story I love that Pick-a-Woo Woo who publishes the book donates a portion of the profit to children's charitable organisations.

Over all I give the book
