Frugal Art

I just recives a new sofa for Mother's Day. Very MUCH need, the style is a bit more modern then our other hand me down, so I wasn't very happy with the art pieces on the wall... and art is not cheep.....THEN it hit me --I've got two of the best modern artist living right in my home-MY KIDS

My plan for the new gallery wall is to hit the thrift shops and yard sales in the nest few weeks  find as many photo frames I can, give them a JET black covering and frame some of my childrens materpieces. I'm also going to dig up some of my old art pieces from my parents celler---thank goodness they never throw things away  =D
