 If you have teens you know they love their music... I'm pretty  open to all sort of music but there are times I don't feel like hearing the newest song 100Xs in a row. That when I insist my kids put their ear buds in.

Sleepless Knight Childrens #Book #Review

Even before I had children of my own I had a large collection of childrens book....from easy picture books to young adult novels.  For young readers making the transition from  picture books to easy readers can be challenging. Thats why I love comic book layout...the panels and word balloons are helpful and can foster a lifelong love of reading.

I had the pleasure of receiving an advanced copy of such book- Sleepless Knight  The story itself is a simple  adventure one  Knight has. He is thrilled to go on an BIG camp out; he's pack ALL he needs that includes his Teddy. As night fall  Teddy cannot be found--OH THE ADVENTURE THAT ENSUES.  I like how the visual effects on the word bubbles help show the intensity of the story.

Along with the awesome story  the authors have included a few step by step drawing instructions  with some of the characters in the story-truly giving the reader an  Adventure in Cartooning.

Sleepless Knight is a story you're going to want to add to your childrens book shelf. It goes on sale April 2015 and is for ages 3 and up. Look for it on Amazon or many local book stores.

Have you done the #CutieCurl WE DID!!

This weekend I was a host for a super fun playdate  sorry PARTY-my kids say they are too old for "play dates"  =} Whatever you call it it was LOADS of FUN!

Disclosure: I received these party packages to host a Cutie Curl Play Date. All the opinions are 100% my own.

My daughter could wait to help pack  the take away bag for our Cuties Curl Party. There was  hats, sunglasses, tattoos, bam bams, bags and magnets and an adorable stuffed CUTIE!

We invited about 10 friends over to enjoy some yummy Cuties and just have fun! If there's food THEY WILL COME!!

The kids had a blast with the bam bams. They were hitting them together to make a loud noise...sword fights broke out - I cannot wait to take these to my Son's next Soccer game!!
