Family fun this weekend

The local Assembly of God  was throwing a Free

 Family Fair so the kids and I went over to check it

 out this weekend.

They could played for hours on the giant slide.

4 fun facts about today

The Fourth of July commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. It was initially adopted by Congress on July 2, 1776, but then it was revised and the final version was adopted two days later.

The Declaration of Independence was signed by 56 men representing the 13 colonies.


Three U.S. presidents actually died on July 4. Two of them passed away within hours of each other on July 4, 1826: John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.  The other to share the distinction was James Monroe, who died July 4, 1831

Our Visit to Niagara Falls ~~ WW ~~ 7/3

After being contacted by Helicopter Mom about doing a guest post about summer memories  yesterday I decided to take my kids up to the Falls--we are blessed to live so close to this AMAZING SIGHT!! It is America’s oldest state park, Niagara Falls State Park stands today as an American icon and enduring legacy of the visionaries who worked to save it for generations to come.

    What I like is we can pack a picnic lunch and go up have a great time for $0!! THERE are many attractions that co$t a little but you can have a great time for FREE =]

we parked near the rapids(FREE) and did a LOT of walking!!

I love the old world charm this inn has

what's a day of walking with out a few scraps on the knee!!!
