Simple acts of kindness brings good into the world. #30DayGIVE #LovetheGIVE #WearYourHeartOut

#30DayGive

#LOVETOGIVE

#WEARYOURHEARTOUT

You might have seen these hashtags popping up on your Social media feed a lot -

#30DayGIVE is a collaborative challenge encouraging people to make giving a habit and inviting them to discover how deliberate acts of kindness can change the world. Your #30DayGIVE can be big or small, and start at any time. It’s about the difference YOU  make, the people you help and inspire.

I first herd about this as a member of Crowdtap  then I visited the main website and was even more intrigued.
Here is the Challenge list given out by the  LoveTheGive website

The #30DayGIVE Challenge doesn’t always need to be something YOU do, it can also be thanking someone else for what they’ve done. GIVE thanks to a special person and share it to social!
These list are awesome--I've been doing my best to get them done!--NOT always in the order on the list but something from the list-

WEAR your heart out by drawing, getting a temporary tattoo or pinning a red heart to show you’re doing your #30DayGIVE Then SHARE  on Social Media and encourage other to give the challenge a try!  GET THE WHOLE FAMILY INVOLVED -MAKE A DIFFERENCE

~~~ I was NOT compensated by any brand or company to share this--IT'S just my 100% opinion on a great program.  Challenge list came from the Love The Give website and the quote photo is from google all other photos are my own.
August 19th is National Hot and Spicy Food Day Celebrate with @TandoorChef #foodie
Did you know August 19 th is Hot and Spicy Food Day. It has been proven  compounds in spicy food can improve your health. The rest of my family are not to fond of the spice like I am that's why I'm a fan of Tandoor Chef Entrees I can get the benefits the rest of the family is missing out on.
 Here are 5 reasons you shouldn’t skimp on the heat with Tandoor Chef:
1.    Weight Loss: Studies show that the main compound in chilies, called capsaicin, has a thermogenic effect and may cause the body to burn more calories and boost metabolism.
Heat up! Lamb Vindaloo.
2.    Heart Health: Studies show that cultures that eat the spiciest foods have much lower incidence of heart attack and stroke. It could be because chili peppers help to reduce the damaging effects of bad cholesterol while capsaicin helps to fight inflammation.
Heat up! Vegetable Pad Thai.
3.    Cancer Prevention: Some studies suggest that capsaicin has the ability to kill some cancer and leukemic cells. Another spice, turmericmay slow the spread of cancer and growth of tumors.
4.    Lower Blood Pressure: Vitamins A and C strengthen the heart muscle walls, and spicy heat can increase blood flow throughout your body.
5.    Boost Your Mood: Spicy foods boost production of feel-good hormones, such as serotonin, easing depression and stress.
Heat up! Malai Kofta.
With Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free verities your sure to find a entree that will suit you.
@Repurpose is giving us #ABetterSummer with Sustainable tableware #safe #living green
Going more green has been a family goal this year. I've been finding many little changes I can easily make that will have HUGE impact.
I've shared quite a few here and I pleased to have found another great company that  makes sustainable & durable tableware. Repurpose has many great point that make them stand out;
  • made from plants-renewable source
  • BPA-free, chlorine-free, petroleum-free
  • heavy-duty plates and bowls  cut and leak-resistant
  • available in stores nation wide (STORE LOCATOR)  and online
  • prices are reasonable (cutlery 24 count/$2.99; plates 20pk $3.99)
I used them for a Graduation party and they were perfect - I normally hate buying plastic cups, but in this case, they can be composted! Put out a sharpie so everyone can label their own cup.
These products help you lower your carbon footprint. So grab some today and enjoy the refreshing feeling of doing the right thing for you and your environment.
